Being and educator, I was well aware of the Emotional Intelligence author, Daniel Goleman. What I didn’t know was how versed he was in being mindful and mindfulness, but of course it makes total sense. This is a great jumping off point for anyone interested in starting a mindfulness practice who wants to know the research behind mindfulness (spoiler alert: it’s life changing). For those of us already including a mindful practice into our everyday lives, this information is affirming and will help extend your practice by guiding you to where you may want to explore in the future with your practice.
